nice song lyrics

就算幸福再短暂
回忆也要放进去脑海保暖
如果爱注定很难
别让自己疲惫不堪珍惜每一段

the air at home is buzzling

This saturday will be my Dad's birthday.
I just heard news from my mum that
we will be celebrating his birthday
this sat with a birthday cake.
It came as somewhat a shock
to me though. I tried recalling
but it seems that i have no memory
of celebrating my dad's birthday with
a birthday cake and birthday song.

I was then led to think that
we are the typical asian chinese,
conservatively showing love
in the most reserved way
(emphasied version).
Well, plus the fact that you
could come up with a brilliant
script based on my family history.
Part dramatic, part chaotic,
part complicated yet with
sweet memories of childhood.

So, it's going to be somewhat awkard
and somewhat good. I don't know what
to expect but i thank God that somehow,
it seems that slowly, the air at home is
buzzling.

A couple of months back, i did something
which i never thought i dare do.
So on the pretense of a photo competition,
armed with my mum's brilliant idea, i broke
some personal barrier. I actually directed a
shoot with my mum and dad.
It's quite a unique experience.
I really didn't even dare ask my dad about
it. I had to ask my mum to go talk to
my dad. Then, brought them out and
took photos of them.

Below is the photo i submitted for the Great
Eastern "Life is great" photo competition 2007.
Although i didn't win any monetary prize, i felt,
i've won still.
I defeated one giant on the inside of me.

If i ain't got you

Some people want it all
But I don't want nothing at all
If it ain't you baby
If I ain't got you baby
Some people want diamond rings
Some just want everything
But everything means nothing
If I ain't got you, Yeah

I look out at the clouds
gathering outside the window,
its' forms ever changing
never ceasing to amaze.
i thought about the Maker,
marvelling at His creativity,
overwhelmed at the beauty,
not of the scenery but instead,
the thought of you in the midst
of such a beautiful day.

Interior

We had a laugh. I didn't managed to take the other book that had thaksin on the cover with the title "where are you, now?"
Right underneath that book, it's thaksin's daughter.

I think this is the sample piece of the king's throne at the airport. Noone's home though

Our last meal in thailand

We almost missed our flight!
We were the last 2 group to board the plane.
After us, there's one more person and that's it.
And, how we know it's definitely the flight to singapore
because when the last person got on, there
were people boo-ing. haha. Typical singaporeans.

The thai night

Emo me.

Big wide world!

There you go.
4days of holiday is over.
Sigh. Back to reality. Work and heartache.

Day 2.
Thailand Bangkok.

The first mall of the day. It's bigger than vivocity.

James and seth bought me lunch for my bday! Sizzler is so cheap!!! We eat until darn full.

Second mall of the day. Huge as well!!! Bugis is nothing compared to this in sheer size.

The most posh cinema theatre i ever seen @ Paragon Siam.

Checking out the photo he took of himself.

Resting after walking the whole day.

Traffic jam. Man, thank God i'm not stuck in there.

Dangerous bag. James said it reminded him of the last 'king' of super mario the video game.

This picture speaks for itself.

The place where i'm at every morning uploading my stories.

I laughed at these T-shirts.

The person who is staying at the 2nd floor better have a alternative emergency exit.

S$1 = 20 thai baht. Go figure how much the mineral water cost.

Cheers beer!

Would you eat this?

Would you buy this?

I'm amazed at the MRT tracks. Everytime i see it, reminds of gotham city or final fantasy.

Chang beer. haha. Chang if only you can see this.

Rabbit Donut.

I wonder what's inside.

Our ride back to the hotel after a long day.

James the king, seth the servant.
