Journey of life

I just watched the movie 'click'.

It's like DR. A.R Bernard's message in 2002 packed in a movie. It was really good! i wasn't to excited about the show but as the show slowly unveils itself, i grew to enjoy it by the minute. A show. Life is really like a show; especially when we play them back on the screen of our mind, memories.

I pondered about the last almost 1 year. I've grew. Emotionally and most important spiritually. Crawling through so much ups and downs the past year that as i look back, i thank Father God for His strength and wisdom. Indeed, God's way are higher than our ways, His thoughts higher than ours! At the same time, His thoughs towards us are of peace, hope and a future!

I love you Father God. It was not an easy year for me and You know it. But i have grown and advance to a whole new level of life. The fire moulded and changed the way i look and handle my life. It was really tough but now i can see clearer. I put my trust in You.

Every second we live
Every inhale and exhale of air
Every circumstances
Every event in life
Happens and happens
For one purpose.
So that we know that we know
God is God.
God is love.
God loves us.
God wants a relationship
Any intimate relationship
requires trust to last.
and Trust is what i will give.
Every bit of my being!
If You are with me, who can be against me!

hectic hectic week

I'm back!

man, it was such a tiring, memorable, fun and lack of sleep week. It all began on FOP.
I shot for all three nights of FOP. CCC was BRILLIANT, AWESOME and ENERGETIC!
I truly agree with what jessel says. Other that Delirious?, they are (in my opinion) the next best christian band!!!

1st FOP night.
ended bout 11plus.. Downloaded all the pictures, debriefed and went for supper. Reached home at 1plus am.

2nd day(sat)
Meet at city hall at 1030 to carry equipments for sunday's family studio shoot at SIS.
settled all the equipment slightly before FOP started and off i went to shoot again.
FOP ended, went back to room to carry equipment up to overflow area to setup 5 studio setup.
Left at 1plus.

17th Anniversary.
Break. Didn't shoot for service but was around to look after the booth.
Service ended and we started taking pictures of family.
Tear down about 4 and must get it done by 6 before crowd for FOP comes in.
Found some time to get the CCC band to autograph the pictures i took of them. They loved the pictures!
Nikki fletcher, josh, joe pringle all like the photos. Joe pringle remembers me from the last time they were at expo.
Nikki suddenly ask me out of nowhere if i were a drummer. I didn't not even mention anything bout music man!
Then i told my mentor, he reckons that it's the anointing/discernment in her. :D

3rd FOP night.
The most fun night! BUt was tired as well. I almost doze off while standing, taking pictures of Ed silvoso!
CCC band knows that we're taking pictures and this time, they posed alot for our cameras!!! cool!!
The whole photography team took a picture with them. Tired but a thrilling and awesome night!
Got a couple of good shots from FOP. really satisfied. I just have a feeling, that they might just fly us down to their
church to help them to shoot, maybe for their next album or something. JUst a feeling. MY feeling. They didn't say anything at all. :D But i don't mind if they would fly us down to help them!

To many, it may seem an easy job taking photos during service and all. It may even seem to be a very technical experience.
But to most of us, while shooting, we spend time with the Holy Spirit. Many times, we just don't know where to go, what lens to use or what will happen next. Holy spirit our parakletos then comes along and we go to the right place at the right time to capture the right moment at a unique angle with the right equipment. it's amazing how God moves in us.

The hecticness doesn't end here. Monday and tuesday got full day shoot. Wednesday also full day shoot. Thursday got last minute studio shoot. Friday rested. Saturday morning brought equipments to expo to set up studio shoot. At the same time, to put up the photo exhibtion. I loved my picture of nikki fletcher! The moment!

Sunday after everything ended, tear down both the studio and the photo exhibtion and bring everything back to office.
God oh God take a hold on me!

oh. Was talking to sotong on friday night. I realised how good it feels when someone appreciate you for something you done for them. True appreciation. Man, all i did for them felt worthwhile. To see the surprise and happiness of their face. The thoughts(xin shi) i have for them didn't go to waste. But of couse, the opposite do also happen. sigh. well well, what to do :D

9 more months of singlehood to go! jiayou! God, draw me ever so close to you!

Camera collector vs photographer

I was on the train home with my boss/mentor (jimmy) after work and dinner.
We talking about some aikido techniques then this quite under dressed guy came out of nowhere and interrupted our conversation; jimmy was wearing a t-shirt with a famous camera.

man: " that's a prototype camera. where did you get it from?"
jimmy (smiling) : "From bangkok."
man: "this camera is the prototype camera. built for WWII.."
Continues to rattle the history of the camera of the t-shirt. Took out a photography magazine and start to explains what's the difference in appearance in the new type and the older type of that camera.

I was just thinking about this incident while i was chilling out at starbucks after work.
What is a camera without the user?
Is the camera itself more important than it's function?
Is the camera itself more important than the results you can attain through it?
I doubt so.
So, the point is, like what jimmy always says.
You can have any type of camera but eventually it's the pictures that is going to make the difference.

I was also thinking about something about boy-girl relationships.
So what kind of girl would i wish to have/marry?

Pondered..

The answer i came to.

One that fear God - even more than i do.
