God's perfect will

I had a job yesterday to cover a launch of a search engine party which includes watching MI3 for free! woohoo! praise God for that! free popcorn and drinks too :D and also income to come in! Jehovah Jireh, God my provider!

Anyway, as i was on the way to the location, i was waiting at the traffic light. Then i saw pple crossing the road and i dumbly followed thinking that it's ok to move; only to realise that the man is still red! Then i turn immediately to see if there's any car approaching. At the same time, the green man came on. I sigh a sigh of relief. Then, this revelation came to me.

I was justing listening to Dr A.R Bernard's message and there is this part where he shared that God's predestination of us is based on His foreknowledge and not our choices. He knows what choices we have and even before the situation even hit us, He had already provided a solution to that situation. In the book of Revelations, john mentioned that he saw the lamb slained from before the foundation of the world. We all know the lamb is Jesus. But why does apostle John says that Jesus was the lamb slained from before the foundation of the world when before the foundation of the world, adam was not even born or created yet, thus sin have not gone into the human race?

As pst phil pringle mentioned that, God placed adam in the place of great opportunities(garden of eden) and at the same time it's the place of greatest danger. God foresee that adam might have the choice to sin or even will sin (eventually), thus even before the creation of adam, God have already in His mind provided a way out for man. which is Jesus, the lamb slained before the foundation of the world.

And this came into my mind while crossing the road. Many times, we cross the road of life even when the hazard lights are still on. Whether is it we follow the wrong crowd or advices of wrong people, it generated sins or mistakes due to that inflluence. But God already have the solution to your problems in place. You just have to seek for it! Seek God! God have provided a way when there seems to be no way! God is good!

Moses's heart

I was just done with my daily cleaning up and was just looking into the mirror.

Then, the thought of moses came to my mind. i wondered, when he was in the presense of God 40 days and nights, did he sleep? or was he like elijah who ate the manna and had supernatural strength to run 40 days and nights? And what was he talking to God about for 40 days and nights? Did it felt like it was 40 days and nights or did it felt like it was just a few hrs in his presense?

Then my thought went to aaron and the children of Israel. When moses didn't come down from mt sinai, the children of israel tot he was died and ask aaron to set up a golden carved image so they can worship him.

At the same time, moses on mt sinai was recieving God's own handwritten commandments for the children of israel.

Exodus 31:18
"And when He had made an end of speaking with him on mount sinai, He gave moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God,"

Exodus 32:1
" Now when the people saw that moses delayed coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to aaron, and said to him, " come, make us gods thatt shall go before us; for as for this moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of egypt, we do not know what has become of him."

Then my thought went to moses when God told him to go down as the children of israel have created the golden calf.

Exodus 32: 19
" So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So moses's anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain."

I was thinking, why did he cast the tablets out of his hands?
isn't it precious! The own handwriting of GOD! I would never have cast out of my hands, not to even mention breaking it!
And he cast it out and broke it! moreover, it contains His words(commandments)!
Then i heard, a voice.
Because moses had God's heart in his heart. moses was anger that God was hurt by the disobedience of His own people;
that such a precious thing were not as important as God's feelings.

The Fear of the Lord (part 2)

As i was reading 1 Samuel the other night, i had a revelation from God.

1 Sam 2: 12
"Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know the LORD.
1 Sam 2: 22
"Now Eli was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all Israel, and how they lay with women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting."

During the time where Eli the priests were judging Israel, he had two sons who did not fear the LORD. They even "lay with women who assembled at the door of the tabernacle of meeting." They are men of 'boldness'. Just right at the front door of God's dwelling place on earth they dare to commit such audacity. To put this in modern context, it's as good as going up to the president's house and dump your human waste right at his doorstep.

But yet, at a time like these, there is a person who was not like them.

1 Sam 2: 18
"But Samuel ministered before the LORD, even as a child, wearing a linen ephod."
1 Sam 3: 19
" Then Sameul grew, and the LORD was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground."

In those times where the sons of Eli the priest practiced lawlessness and disregarded the tabernacle of God, Samuel even as a child ministered to God. Now what hit me was, when Samuel was ministering to the LORD, the sons of Eli was still in the tabernacle. So since young, Samuel must have known what the sons of Eli was doing. They were in the same Tabernacle serving God! Yet, he was not influenced by them and joined in their wicked ways. What's the difference between them? What set them apart? or rather what set Samuel apart? It's the fear of the LORD.

Another revelation just hit me as i'm writing this; No matter how many years you've been in church, no matter how many years you spend serving in a ministry, no matter how much you gave your offering; It's your fear of the LORD the separates you from those who might be attending church and cg faithufully but yet are still sinning willfully!

Pro 14: 27
"The fear of the LORD, is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death."
