platoon outing now~!
I'm now in my officer's house... some playing mahjong, some playing ps2. And so i take the chance to blog la! hehe... Going for dinner ltr at Furama hotel. No idea what is going down my throat ltr though.Anyway, my good friend called me and told him he got posted to... let just say he's a technical crew for a certain camp. He told me his mixed feelings to where he is now and seriously, i didn't thought that it's that bad until i saw it for myself. Yesterday my Division had a uphill run and after that a celebration for their 9th anniversary. So they came and performed and i kinda understand why he's feeling like that. It is indeed something quite hard to swallow considering where he came from. Anyway, we met up on wednesday night and had a good talk since a few mths.
We talked about alot of things. Things about daily life to faith to life to films to future... hehe.. i always enjoy talking to him. He thinks about so many things and that his questions gets my brain working. To answer his questions also make me realised my own values and believes. Then we talked more. He posed this question which i've been wondering for a quite a while now. It kinda struck a chord.
"Good man dies first. Bad guys get all the girls"
Now, i'm not saying that i'm a perfect guy (not a mummy's boy too!) nor am i the mean-est guy around. It just that it seems to both of us that somehow being a good guy just doesn't seems to attract the opposite sex. I daresay that i don't sleep ard or take advantage of girls, keeping the old code of respect for girls as they are. But it just seems to us that morals codes are somehow forgotten or rather ignored. Noone follows it anymore. It doesn't matters if we behave like an gentleman coz it's not cool or fun in that matter of sense. A guy who abides to good codes of conduct are boring dull crap living creatures. Then again. Maybe we're liking the wrong kind of girls huh? A question that i can't answer him. "Are girls even bothers about good guys? If so then why are all the good girls falling for the bad guys?" If not then why do we still have the mentality of trying to be a gentleman. That maybe being a gentleman might win the girl of our heart. We should just be like animals and have fun with everyone and anyone. Since it's so much easier to follow the crowd than to fight them head on. Well, i don't know. I'm not a girl (more like i'm not the girl of my heart) so i won't know would i?
I'll like to meet you too. Our path never seems to cross.
